If you’ve been staring at an empty wall in your living room for far too long, one of these six living room wall décor ideas should come in handy! That’s why we written our article about 6 ideas of how to decorating living room wall with pictures. Do you, like me, have a large bare wall in your living room? I don’t think every barren wall needs to be adorned, but I think this one does. I just don’t know what! I’ve chosen six favourite living room wall decor ideas to offer after searching for some inspiration!
1. The Gallery Wall
In the photo above, just to the right of the barren wall, you can see the solution I used to decorate the largest of our living room’s four walls – a gallery wall of art! We employ ten framed art prints in a grid configuration around our media console and TV.
2. Oversized Art
Hanging two or three huge pieces of art on large living room walls is another excellent choice.
3. Tapestry
A giant tapestry is a terrific living room wall decor concept since you can fill up a large wall with a single piece while also adding colour and texture to your area! You simply have to be careful how you hang your tapestry because some tapestries might give your room a dorm room atmosphere, which is definitely not what you’re looking for.
4. Large Bookcase
I’ve seen some incredible transformations of vast vacant living room walls with built-in bookcases, but if that’s out of your price range, enormous freestanding bookcases can provide a similar look!
We recommend books by Natalie Walton as interior inspiration:
5. Floor Mirror
A large floor mirror can look stunning on a plain living room wall, especially if it’s opposite a window and can reflect light into the space.
6. Wall Baskets
Living rooms frequently feature a lot of square-edged objects – coffee tables, TVs, video consoles, and so on – so putting some round baskets to a wall breaks things up and adds texture and softness.
